How to find a game jam team
Whether you want to learn, build your portfolio, or compete, start with teammates who share your goals and can work within the same jam schedule.
1. Share your skills
Create an account and set up your profile with your roles, preferred engines, experience, and timezone so other jammers can understand what you bring.
2. Find your collaborators
Browse jams, search for people by role and engine, or find teams with openings. Look for compatible availability and expectations as well as technical skills.
3. Form your team
Apply to a team or create one and invite collaborators. Agree on a small game idea, decide who owns each task, and make a plan for submitting on time.
Recruit the roles your game needs
Find programmers to build mechanics, artists to give your game its look, designers to shape levels and play, and composers or sound designers to bring it to life. A small team can cover several roles; choose collaborators around the game you can finish together.
