Terms of service
Last updated 4 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Megajam. Using the service means you accept them. If you are using Megajam for an organisation, you confirm you can accept them on its behalf.
Your account
You need an account to register for jams, join teams, or recruit. Keep your email address current — it is how you sign in and how you get your account back if you lose access. One account per person.
Teams and jams
- By default, a team owner decides who joins their team. Applying to a team or accepting an invitation does not guarantee a place on the roster.
- Team membership is scoped to a single jam. A team can carry its identity into later jams, but each roster is formed fresh.
- Megajam helps people find each other. It is not a party to what you agree with your teammates, and it does not arbitrate ownership of what you build together. Settle that among yourselves before the jam starts.
Conduct
Do not harass other members, misrepresent your identity or background, scrape the directory, or send unsolicited bulk invitations. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the cycle shown at checkout. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate partial periods.
Availability
Megajam is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for a jam that goes badly, a team that falls through, or work lost to a service interruption.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced before they take effect. You can close your account at any time from settings. We may close an account that breaches these terms.
